Q: For God sake, tell me which sim card I should buy !

I need to buy a sim card which receives all kind of calls for free with fixed call rate in all provinces. I travel a lot and I found out that I've changed my phone number 4 times, 'cause mobile shops claim to sell me the right sim but once I change the province I ran out of balance immediately !

TBH, I'm not sure you can unless you get some sort of special plan. As you've noticed, the sim cards appear to be linked to a province... so, once you're out of that province (or not dialing into that province, you get charged a fortune...).

If your Chinese isn't up to it, take a translator (and expect to get disappointed...)

China unicoms plans are ok, they are prepaid but charged monthly from 20 something rmb per month and up, and if you are on a A or B plan they are the same rate nation wide, A has more data B has more calling, C gives you loads of minutes but is city based. International calls require a deposit of 500rmb. recieving calls is free.

A:Your potential employer is right! Purpose of the Medical exam before granting Z visa is to make sure, you won't be entering China in any abnormal and harmful to others condition.Few days after your arrival to China, you'll be required to complete another ME ... If ME in China will be OK, you'll get a Residence permit stamp into your book some 10-days afterwards. Imagine, you're an employer, who can sponsor my entry and work in China, but after my arrival to China would be found I carry some sickness, which would prevent Chinese .gov to issue a Residence permit. Rule is: Z visa should be converted into Residence permit in 30-days after entry to China.    So, my advice is:"Complete ME in your home country and forward medical results to your employer".Z visa grant will follow shortly afterwards. Employer is not wrong at their demand for the pre-arrival ME from your home country hospital.   -- icnif77
