Q: Good place to teach. Not a big city. Only one month. Not too far from Beijing. Any suggestions?

I want to teach english or spanish. Part-time in exchange for accommodation and chinese lessons, though some money is always welcomed... I have a tourist visa for one more month, so can not teach long term. I was hoping someone could reccommend me a good place to do it. I think it won't be hard to find a job, but first i want to pick the place, but I don't know much around here. I am tired of traveling long distances (I've been traveling by buses and trains all the way from singapore) so a place not too far (maybe a maximum of 5 hours) from Beijing would be great. Thank you!

Why not look around Huairou, Mutianyu, or other surrounding suburbs of Beijing, or if you don't mind going too far you could try pingyao or wutai shan in Shanxi province, there are loads of small towns villages, they all have schools and I bet foreign teachers are hard to come by...

Just pick up a map, find somewhere beautiful and go! Good luck!
