Q: Good sites for Ch. crime reports?
Not to glorify crime, and I don't enjoy human suffering, but...
I'm curious if anyone knows any Chinese language sites where crimes are reported in all their gruesome detail. I found a couple of links to CC videos of terror attacks in BJ and out west, plus the associated terrorist propaganda that's being cracked down on, but I wonder if there are such sites for more general crimes in Ch.
I've found newspapers like this in SE Asia, which provide all the detailed reporting and imagery needed for an introductory course on forensic science, but I'm curious if the same exists here, or if it is all censored out in favor of picturing a more "harmonious" society.

THERE IS NO CRIME IN CHINA. IT IS THE PERFECT SOCIETY AND EVERYONE IS HAPPY.
Not a website, but a TV show : on CCTV2, evening program, journalist presents various criminal stories, speaking with the condemned, relatives of the victim and the condemned, the victim if he/she alive, etc. My Mandarin is too poor to get the story, I have to ask my wife... It's always dark and gloomy. I would not say TV paints a rosy portrait of Chinese society, really.

Thanksfully, they didn't invite the maniac with the same old 'boing boing' sound effects which are plaguing most TV shows here.
"Wang, feeling dishonoured by Wei refusal BOING BOING TWWWIIIIIP*, lost his patience, *BOING BOING*, took the meat cleaver *WUBWUB TWWWWWIIIP*..."

I hate those childish sound effects so much. I make those sound effects when my wife is watching the news. For some reason she is not entertained by it

There is also a show on CCTV1 at 12.35 each day which my wife watches regularly.
I also hate those stupid annoying sound effects, they sound like something from a kids comedy show. Just goes to show what level of intelligence the produces of such programs assume their viewers have attained.DrMonkey:
Ok, I feel better, it's not just me who find those sounds very annoying. When I ask to my wife "Seriously, you don't find this annoying ? Do you know anybody who commented about this, apart from me ?". She shrugs, say no, it's just me. Living in China feels like being trapped in a Kafka story.
