Q: Got any cool tattoos in China?
Firstly, do you have any tattoos? and Secondly, did you get any of them in China? What did you get?

Let me guess.... back in your day you used to walk barefoot through 3 feet of snow to school without a shirt. Pick and choose your conversations gramps. Hahaha
Scandinavian:
no, I biked to school. I come from a society where despite snowfall, the roads will be cleared. It's also a society where people obide by the laws, so at age 8, I was allowed to bike myself to school, a distance of about 5km, although my mum would bike with me the first 1,5km to get to her work.
Visco8:
Hey ~ I have a couple tattoos that look good, are original ie have some meaning to me at least & are quite artistic. Also, are private. Back/ Upper arm. Easily hidden which I like. So, pls don't knock it.
Scandinavian:
The purpose of a forum is to knock what you think needs knocking. Please don't knock my knocking, just because you are offended doesn't mean you are right.
brother1818:
I'm not sure that is the purpose of a forum @Scan. and if it is, then sometimes you can ignore a thread too. If you disagree you don't always have to say so. Sometimes just let it slide.
I don't have any tattoos, because I asked 'master': 'Does it hurt?'
After 'yes' confirmation, I'd rather 'lick lolly pop'
, over 'getting tattoo'.
I've been thinking about getting some cool Chinese art on my body but certain things have put me off.
1. Tattooists should be registered or be legal (Even in my country some 'scratchers' break the law and just buy the equipment and do shit tattoos of anchors, I love mum and put love hate on there knuckles). Aside, even if there amazing, they need to be registered. I don't think they bother here, with standards.
2. We are living in a country that gives unclear statistical information to the public about the % of people with AIDS, STDS and blood-borne disease = I do NOT want to take the risk of using a needle used to tattoo someone else.
So I'd rather get them done by a Chinese guy living in my country!
I got mine in China. I dont know if its cool but i wanted it for years and finally manned up. Those cheap ones on the street scared me and i didnt want a dirty needle giving me osteoperosis ( i dont know how these new fangled diseases work ). I literally googled " most expensive tatoo in guanzhou and found this place in a highrise business tower 52 floor. I had no idea what to look for but it was super clean and proffessional so i did it. A mid size back piece cost me 3500 rmb. the detail is great , i love the work and it healed nicely, and better yet i just got tested for my visa and i dont got the hiv.
Well worth it.
