Q: Hair dresser price range?

It's time i get a haircut, but I don't know any good hair dresser in Beijing. Is there any good hair dresser that knows how to handle Westerner's hairs, and speak English, preferably? Asians usually have thinner hairs, so the methods to cut them is slightly different.

And what would be a regular price range?

I've been going to Tony Studio (not to be confused with Tony and Guy). They have branches all around the city but I go to the one beside Jenny Wang's in Lido because they deal with dozens of foreigners every day and are well accustomed to foreign hair.

The cheapest hair cut costs 180 RMB, but if you choose the master it costs 360 upwards. I've gotten the cheapest option twice and was really happy with the results. I cut my long locks short in a spontaneous move and loved the results.

I also like the general atmosphere and interior design of the place...it's clean, modern, trendy and you don't feel like you're in China. They also offer lots of magazines for inspiration.
