Q: Halloween ESL Activities for high schoolers
Do any of the teachers on here know of any good Halloween themed a tivities that would be appropriate for high schoolers? I just realized that Halloween is this week.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Languageclan once put together a Halloween themed PPT that I found useful for my first year university students. I would imagine that this would work just as well for high school as the content is simple and could be varied somewhat.
If you can't find the PPT, the contents were otherwise made up from a short bit on the Origins and a longer bit on customs - mainly focusing on ways of dressing up and celebrating the holiday. This could be adapted for high schoolers as dressing up as monsters (vampires, witches, etc.) and singing some Halloween songs.
Maybe teach them the history of Halloween? Tell them Halloween is not the same as Cosplay where Japan is doing it during Halloween.
