Right outside our street in Germany, there was a Carnaval parade throwing candy to the kids. On Chinese new year of all days. My wife got a bunch of snapshots to show off to the people back home.

It sure beats chunjie in China! Spending new year with costume-dressed "crazy foreigners".

Yeah, it wasn't Rio: I don't think they use tractors in parades there…
