Q: Has anyone been to Panyu in Guangzhou?

I'm planning on checking out Lotus Mountain and the Safari park. Does anyone know of other things to do and have you been to the mountain and safari before? What did you think?

I have a home in Panyu, right next to the Safari park. Chimelong (the safari park) is a huge place. They have a zoo, theme park with live shows, huge water slide park, 5 star hotel with a very nice buffet in the basement, etc... Very worth spending a day to explore. Some of the best parts (such as the zoo (which is very nice by Chinese standards) is free to roam around.

The buffet is placed next to a very large, glass walled atrium that houses a few bengal tigers. It makes for a nice atmosphere.

Unfortunately, I have never been to Lotus Mountain, so I can't tell you anything about that.
