It depends, if your boss can get your replacement, I'd assume he'll let you go fast.

If you are in the Training Center, School makes money direct because of you. If you're not at the School often, then business suffer.

I'm proud to say, 'I am never sick!'. I didn't miss more than a week classes in almost 5 years in China. 

I worked with an American guy once.  He was a real nice guy and took his job quite seriously.  But, he had a weak stomach and was always holed up in his bathroom because of some mystery food often.  He did avoid street food and other shady looking joints, but he was still plagued by these stomach issues.  Maybe once a month he would call out rather than suffer through class and maybe have an accident in front of the students.  Eventually, the school was sick of it, hired somebody else secretly, and let him go... But, they did give him a nice review and his release letter so he was able to find a new job fast.

I knew a guy in Hebei. He was a great teacher but took a lot of sick days. The school finally fired him.

I have never heard of it. But honestly they should fire you. You could eat baozi, dumplings or simple noodles if your stomach is sensitive. You are an adult, it is your responsibility to eat carefully. Also, you were not brainwashed into thinking you must eat oily risky food. You know how to make intelligent choices when it comes to what you put in your body.

Too be honest, It seems to me like an excuse. They probably dont feel like you are a very good teacher. And you missing days is way easier to say than because they think you suck.

I have seen poor teachers get fired over trivial things and I have definatly seen extremely good teachers  never get fired regardless of how much they miss, come to work drunk, hungover, or mess with students.  My guess is that if you did a little better at work, then your stomach issues wont be much of a problem.

Unless your an an amazing teacher but you miss work a few times a week due to pooping. Thats embaressing.

I have never been fired, but I have fired employees who abuse the sick policy. That being said it has to do with the individual and the profession in which I work. I manage a medical research lab where everything must happen on schedule. If the protocol states blood samples will be collected at 36 hours after the drug is administered, it must occur then (even if that is at 1 am.

The people I have fired always exhibited pattern behaviors.  

Examples: Always sick the day after payday.

Only sick on Mondays or Fridays

Only sick when they have a heavy work day (schedules are posted in advance and if someone is out the rest of the staff has to absorb their workload that day.)

My company gives each employee 15 days vacation and 5 sick days as well as the holidays. If an employee consistently exceeds this total it adversely impacts morale of the other staff and smooth operation of the business.

My contract has a provision that if I miss more than 30 days the contract may be terminated.

A situation like this happened to a close friend before: Had some health problem and unfortunately had a surgery, therefore, he was unable to work the incoming 25 days. When he came to the office again, he worked the whole day and until it finished, his ex boss told him that he got fired... there was someone from the office covering up what he was doing....

Every situation is unique, but a good guide is:

If you are making a significant contribution to your organization, add value, or make your company money as long as you do not commit egregious offenses it is unlikely you will be fired.

If you are not missed when you are out. You won't be missed when your gone. 

Considering the vast majority of my "sick days" taken have been a direct result of the boss or other managers inviting (forcing?) me out to dinner, KTV, and binge drinking....no, I haven't been fired for taking those sick days 

My girlfriend used to work for Disney English and her roommate was also a teacher there, they had a 10 days sick leave a year as a part of their policy. Her roommate took 40-50 days off or something because she was always off her head on codine, weed and red wine (changyu and great wall, to be more specific). She was an absolute trainwreck, drank on the way to work and was a blatant racist, besides this though they kept her (and paid her each month in full) til the end of her contract and she was quoted as "un-hirable" in her reference letter.
