Q: Has anyone ever taught a real psycho?
I keep hearing about students poisoning each other and stuff. Any would-be killers coming through the system? (Just like to point out I don't want actual names! )

I've taught a few kids who seriously wouldn't surprise me if they grew up to be those brats who hit people with their shiny cars and then stab them to death to avoid paying hospital bills. I might actually be more shocked if they don't end up doing that.
I tutored one college student who was such a creepy asshole that I made him pay in advance, just to make sure he would. I swear to god, the guy only hired me to 'tutor' him because I am a white female. He spent almost the whole session trying to get me to bend over far enough for him to look up my shirt...didn't even try to hide it. I always dressed like a Puritan before I went to tutor him--that's probably why he stopped showing up. Boo-hoo, I don't miss him.

Haha, well done - I'm impressed you even put up with that.
I taught one guy one time that seemed to be there just to get under your skin....not sure what he's doing or where he's at, but he seemed like a real nut case..

I've taught some real psycho's, but I think they've been cured of whatever caused their psycho behaviour....that's what real teaching does for you...the more you know!

the worst ones slip by un noticed . Look at the creeps that grab girls off the street and lock them away for years.Every country has them and there does not seem anyway to pick them out till it is to late.The ones that do stand out people just tend to stay clear of.
Some of the kids I taught in kindergarten were absolutely sadistic. One kid had severe autism, and some of those little assholes ganged up on him and beat him for being "different." They kicked him in the head, and knocked him flying.
Those same little shits would come after anyone who had a scab or wound, and attack it until it bled. They'd attack the assistant teachers, punch them in the vag and stomach, and if I got close enough to get them to repeat something, they'd go straight for the nuts.
Some of them are so sadistically violent they often screamed and punched random people, each other, and sometimes me. Whenever they started hitting me, or each other, I gave them one chance to stop, and if they didn't then I just walked out of the class and refused to teach them.
They were all filthy rich, and some behaved HORRIBLY.
But the kids who really tried hard were those poorer kids, whose entire family went out of their way to pay for their tuition for a year. I loved teaching those kids. They really made it worthwhile, and their passion and thirst for knowledge humbled me.

The punching bit sounds pretty vicious. If it's that bad maybe teachers should get danger pay.

The punching and sadistic behavior are LEARNED behaviors. They learn this at home when daddy's beating the shit out of mommy. Nobody talks about abuse in China, but it's evidently rampant.

I once cut my leg and had a bloody scar. One kid was sitting in the front row. I was teaching them how to pronounce the letter "V" (Chinese really blow at this), and the kid came right up and smashed my leg wound repeatedly.
The assistant teacher slapped him for it. Then another kid came up and did it too. I walked out of class, off the school grounds chucked the gate lock onto the ground, and walked home.
Another kid kept hitting me instead of the picture. The assistant teachers weren't doing anything, so I got up and did the same thing I did then. I only walked out of class twice.

Don't let that discourage you. There are psychos in every country.
The children who really enjoy learning will make your job worth it.
