Q: Has anyone gotten a job through CCESL recruiting agency?

They post a lot of jobs on here. I haven't been able to find any information about them on the internet. I know agencies can be bogus. Are they legit?

They are not bogus. It was first Agency in China, I had contact with for work in 2009. If you fit desired profile, they'll hook you up with the School. They have more job adverts at ESL Tiger web site. They offered contact over Skype for an interview.

 

It is difficult to give you reliable answer, because Agencies just keep same name, and employ different agents, who are rarely honest. Agents are same as 'used car salesman': 'they're all making up the facts, in order to 'sell' products'.

I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
