Q: Has anyone had experience with the recruiter?

This recruiter goes by 3 different names: Enfly Placement, Enfly Education, and Enfeecn.

The recruiter is out of Chengdu and offers as much as 10,000 RMB per month which seems to be unheard of in Sichuan.

If you have any experience with them (good or bad) or know why they go by 3 different names, I 'd like to know.

Just doing research. It is the time of year many recruiters get desperate about finding a foreign teacher.  Not because there is a short supply, but because many just don't prepare and find themselves with allot of business they can't handle. This in turn is caused by the schools that wait until the last minute to figure out how many teachers they will need. ( yikes it's August 28 and we need 4 FTs to start on Sept 1) The schools must think we spend our summers in China.

Even better, the schools think that we are desperate for jobs, waiting (begging) for them to contact us and immediately available. The opposite is the truth, they are desperate for teachers and begging for us to come to work at their crappy school, but they won't show it and will claim "we can replace you anytime" because they are full of themselves and want to save face, until you become really serious about ending the contract, then and only then they will beg you to stay.

This applies to every single school, whether public or private as well as training centers in China.

Never heard of that recruiter, but them using 3 different names is never a good sign.

You are absolutely correct.  More people should call their bluff.

I had similar offer from Chengdu for 9000 Rmb. However,  School required 25 classes/week, what seems excessive.

I also have contacts with several recruiters, but I never heard for one you named. I'm couching them (and you), that when they tell me about offer, they must tell 'salary and hours required' per Contract, not only salary.

I declined above offer, because of too many hours. I asked for higher pay or lower hours.

I have similar offer from Chongqing nearby Sichuan, with big hours overload. Both offers are from public schools with perks included (free housing, refund of flight). At Public schools offer one should be careful on 'holidays salary'. Some Contracts don't offer 'full pay in winter recess'.

I cannot judge your offer, till I don't know 'hours required', but I always ask for Contract. If it's good I sign it, and start preparing to arrive in new city. However till I don't arrive, I'm not sure what I will find at new School.

Once you sign Contract, always respect what School require. Make sure your rights from Contract are respected too, or else.....

I've heard of him looking up for a teaching job. But only the job position he is offering. So,  you're saying your school is looking for more English teachers? Why would the schools would got trough the agents? I think I am going to ask that question on a new topic. I have already so much experience with this agents, that I can tell you, I am fed up with them and already feeling like throwing up.

I have 3 excellent agents. If you care to try, PM.

Any recruiter that has to use more than one name - his real one, should be avoided. I think agents use multiple names when they get blacklisted and they don't want you to find the negative crap about them online.  Try this:  http://www.bjstuff.com/profiles/blogs/cftu-dyi-guide-how-to-check-out-a-china-foreign-teacher-job-1
