Q: Has anyone recently gotten any new visas to China at the Chinese Consulate in Chicago?

Hello, I am going back to America in December.  Later next year, I plan to return to China to visit my wife and her family.  I am interested in the family visit visa.     Are there any other Americans here who have recently since Sept 1, got any types of visas from the Chinese Consulate in Chicago?   I would like to know what kinds of visas, duration of stays and number of entries they are giving, in most part for family visits.   I would be also interested to hear about other peoples recent experiences at the Chicago Consulate.      Thanks.

No, I've never even been to Chicago but I would hazard a guess that if teaching jobs were available in China during the 1930's and 1940's, there would have been quite a few applicants from that part of the world. I am sure Al Capone could have got a job teaching English in a Chinese university even if he had to fiddle his police record to eliminate the minor tax infringements he committed.

Why are you knocking Chicago people for? Typical stereo typing.
