What's a wumao ......?

mattaya:

The question reveals all about what your asking.....it could be himself he is talking about. He did say his dream lob is to become a wu mao which doesn't make sense. Maybe a wu mao is someone who can't make a sentence understandable.

The words "wu mao" are used by a group of posters around here to verbally stigmatize, deride and castigate without any let up any poster who that does not agree with their violently anti-Chinese sentiments and opinions. If you say anything pro-Chinese on this site, you will be immediately castigated as a wu mao and the horde will descend upon like you a gang of devils from the underworld. It has happened to many of us around here.

From ChinaSMACK's glossary: 五毛党 [wǔ máo dǎng / wu3 mao2 dang3] noun. People who are allegedly and secretly paid five mao (50 cents RMB) per post/comment that praises, supports, or defends from criticism/attack the country, government, or Communist Party. Netizens who are very nationalistic are often accused of being part of the “50 cent party” spreading propaganda or “guiding” public opinion. cool
