Q: Has it been snowing in the province or city that you are at in China?

Nope, not yet. Hasn't stayed consistently cold enough and it doesn't rain much.

Not much snow in Harbin (Heilongjiang province).  Had one snowy night in October (first time I ever saw snow in October), and maybe one in November, but nothing that stays on the ground over a day.

The water is all ice now though.  That started maybe a week ago.

It's pretty rough down here in the south.  A frigid 26c for a high and 16c for a low.  I don't think people here know what snow is....life's tough.

The Dong Bei has seen snow on-and-off since mid-December.  Generally speaking, it doesn't last though but so far the winter has been a tad colder than last year -- tonight it will be something like - 22 C. in the middle of the night -- not exactly short sleeve weather.  I can only wonder what the temperature is a little bit further up the road, say in Harbin....
