Q: Has it ever happened to you to wake up at night and longing for something back home ?
While I was in my 3rd year of university in Guangzhou, one night I dreamed so vividly of dhollpuri, a sort of pancake especial to my country, that I woke up feeling a strong longing and it was so deep that I had to resolve to get up and cook myself an instant noodle to fix my hunger.....this was the first time I experienced such a thing and also the last time it occurred to me.
Yes, every night, my bed. Symons Beauty Rest, luxury comfort. like sleeping on a cloud,, sorry to bring this up.
At night is when my mind really wanders since I'm so busy during the day. I really miss my grandmother who pretty much raised me for most of my life.
I never woke up longing for home, but sometimes I would cry before falling asleep.
Hardly woke up dreaming / longing for but what do I REALLY miss?
