Q: Has your baggage ever gotten lost at a Chinese airport?

I know of so many people whose luggage simply never arrived in the UK and other countries but have yet to hear about one single case in China. Is it possible that airports here are better at handling large volumes of luggage? Or have any of you lost your bags here?

I've only ever lost luggage in Paris and London. In both cases the luggage was delivered to my home the next day. In China everything is always on the plane, but man do they beat up the suitcases.

yeah, I managed to get 4 trips out of one.

My friend actually had hers lost when she flew into Beijing (for the first time ever). I've never had any problems myself, pretty lucky as I tend to take an awful lot of connecting flights when I travel.

Funnily enough, in all the years I have been here and the hundreds of flights I have taken, my luggage has never gone missing on a domestic flight (touching wood firmly now). This is the only thing I can say the Chinese do efficiently. My luggage has gone missing on a few international flights. KLM seem like the worst culprits from my perspective but that might just be the fact I have flown more times with KLM on international journeys than any other airline.

My friend's baggage got lost once in Beijing's airport.

I was pissed, because her baggage contained the Orange Box, which I asked her to bring for me, and I was DYING to play.

They found it after 2 or 3 weeks, and she got her stuff back, and everything was in order.

And I got my games. They were amazing. Team Fortress 2 rocks.
