Q: Have Chinese ever tried to pair you with their sons or daughters?
Supposedly this happens to people all the time, but I've yet to have it happen to me. Either because they know I already have a gf, or because I'm too big-boned for their tastes.
Maybe it's for the best, sounds awkward.

I have not been paired with sons or daughters. I don't know anyone very well who has children my age. However, it was mentioned that maybe I could date the cousin of someone that I know, but I don't think it was a serious offer. I think it's more likely to be paired with a friend of a friend or something. One blind date was enough for me, I don't plan on doing that ever again.

It happens all the time with foreigners, it's like a ticket outta China in the eyes of parents in case the alliance works out..

Actually it becomes less and less nowdays, because the Chinese in China get more and more money, not many want to leave the country.
But in the other hand if you have traveled a lot around europe and in USA, you will see many people very poor. Many of these especielly girls is easily to take nowdays.
I guess the world economy is changing and so does the mind of the girls.
