Date 1, he’s talking about how attractive you are and how he’s already falling for you. He calls/text/emails about 50 times in the next 24 hours, letting you know that he can’t stop thinking about you. You are flattered, but you think it’s a little much. You turn off your phone so you can get some work done during the day. You turn it back on and there are 11 new text messages, each increasingly agitated because you haven’t gotten back to him in 8 hours. He saw that you logged into your dating site and have posted on Facebook, and he demands to know if you’re seeing anybody else. Holy shit, dude. This man is letting his irrational jealousy get the best of him. He WAS a good date, but there’s no WAY you’re going to put up with this kind of intensity - a guy who barely knows you, already snooping into your life!?

Actually, is he a white guy? Introduce him to Victoria and you'll solve your, his, Victoria's and Samsara/the board's problems all at once.
Reminded me of "Bug a Boo" song by Destiny's Child.
I experienced this with Korean guys and it's a big turn off if the feeling is not mutual.

Well I've never been with a guy but I've been hit on by guys numerous times in China and I would say that they were way into me way too fast..... Oh wait there are no gays in China nevermind.
sounds like one of those nutters who is going to show up on the front-page of the newspaper before long. I suggest letting him down easy. haha
yeh well you know like totally
and she told 2 friends and so on and so on and so on and so on
what if its the reverse, and its a woman...and its 44 text messages within 5 hours ?
Not a guy but a girl. We never even went out, just happened to meet each other once.
...what are you doing? (trying to work) ... are you still working? (trying to yes) .....I'm bored, mei you yisi ( you could try working)... I miss you.. (no you don't we barely know each other) why don't you ever text me first ( I'm trying to f*****n work that's why) .. ai ya you don't care about me (I don't even like you at this point much less care about you)..
When I stopped replying to the messages she tried to call and when I didn't answer she just kept on calling. All day. A year later I still had the occasional day where she would spend all day calling, me ignoring it and her trying again about a minute later. I think she was insane.
I don't kid myself she was into me, I think it's the more just the Chinese relationship equivalent of the obnoxious, pushy salesperson. If you give the customer time to consider the sale they might see something better so you badger them, nag, invade their personal space and take advantage of the customer trying to be polite until they give up and buy whatever you're selling. Then probably change the terms of the sale.
I find that Chinese women expect you to constantly text them or else you obviously don't care about them. This is either because that is what Chinese men do or Chinese men do this because of the women's crazy demands.
In the one month I was in Beijing and didn't see my girlfriend, who I later married...I sent 600 text msgs. And called. And used weichat.

If you're in a mutual relationship, I think it's ok (presuming the texts, messages, etc are going both ways).
The OP was suggesting something different.
Yes have met a few,I think a decent guy will not do this .just ignore him for a few days then he will disappear by himself.
There was a local Chinese guy who thought he was dating me (or so he said).
I met him when i was at a coffee shop with friends and after chatting for a while, I refused to give him my phone number when he asked, so he slyly got it off someone else i knew.
Then the texting and phone stalking began.
The phone calls i ignored because i didn't recognize the number calling me, but the texts were just annoying.
Thankfully i met him soon enough in the same coffee shop after - by chance, and bawled him out for being a creep once i knew he was the source of the harassment..
His puppy like fawning was a give-away (FFS man-up)
Only very occasionally have i made a grown man near to tears as i don't like to humiliate anyone in public, and this was one of the times.
Bottom line - i have ceased to be as friendly or speak with strangers in a random situation like that. Thanks China
