Q: Have you ever found opened food packages at the stores?

Opened food packages with part of the food half eaten...than put back like it was supposed to be.

It was a lot more common in 2003, when I first arrived in China. It seemed everybody would taste before buying, and place back on shelf if they didn't like it.

No why? I find closed packages and open them to try the food. Too many things just aren't worth buying.

It's to help with dieting.  You feel satisfied and full but in fact you've eaten less - mind over body, mmhmmm.
