Q: Have you ever had someone stalking you in China?

Not a recent story. It happened some 2 years ago when I was still a student in Shanghai. At that point I didn't know too many people in China and sometimes I would ask random Chinese people in the library to help me with my homework. Nobody has ever refused me. Not a single time.

One day I asked some girl. After she helped me with my homework, she innocently asked me for my wechat which I (not suspecting anything) gave her. From that point on, she started sending me messages, first not too many-she needed some help with her English homework (sounds pretty innocent right?) so I immediately agreed to help her with that. At this point the things got a bit out of hand - she started sending me messages at some strange parts of the day and night (like 3 A.M.), she wanted to invite me out, but I refused her like 5 times, moreover she has informed me in a matter of fact tone that she wants me to meet her parents once I come to her hometown ????. My patience finally ended after one of her messages saying that she saw me walking on the campus in the night, while she was standing in the shadow and observing me.... but as she confessed she didn't have the courage to talk to me (observing and/or following someone at night obviously doesn't require any courage). At this point, I realized that I've got my first stalker in China and knowing that she may be standing somewhere in the shadow and observing me didn't make me feel safe, but luckily I walk pretty fast, so she would have to run in order to follow me. After I deleted her from wechat I forgot to block her, so she was still posting comments on my Wechat containing confessions of eternal love.

There is no blood in this story, but worse things happened to some of my friends. What is interesting most of such stories involved women stalking men!!! Have you ever experienced anything similar?

Well,
I have experienced this thing but thanks God it wasn't too serious.
I was new in China those days. After few days in campus i met a girl in some event then she fell in love with me without knowing me who i am and where did i came from.
I told her that i am not interested in you then she said that can we be friends so now we are friends because i couldn't hurt her, though it seems to be awkward
