Q: Have you ever tried to rent one of those public bikes in Beijing?

I've seen a few public bike rental stations around Beijing but have never seen anyone actually use them. Have any of you ever tried renting one and if so, how do you go about it?

You would need some type of card. I don't believe foreigners like you and I are able to use them. You are talking about the red bikes in Beijing right? I've seen plenty of people use them just not foreigners...
