Q: Have you ever visited the Global Doctor Clinic?

What's your experience with it?

I went there once for body check, it was ridiculously expensive. I got a job offer from the Global Doctor recently. But I doubt whether I should go there.

There is a world of difference between Chinese local hospitals VS International standards.  I've been to both.  IV therapy for every patient compromises the immune system VS conservative Western standards on antibiotics.  On that stand alone, I choice to pay more.

On top Latina 1965 comment which I totally share there is still one more big difference. In my country the doctors has the obligation to explain you what is your problem, what probably causes your problem and which way of treatment (and why) they are going to apply (together with expected time frame, results or eventual acompanying problems). Global doctors, at least in city where I live, follow this pattern. However it's very unusual to meet such approach in even quite good Chinese hospital. Saying all of this as long as your insurance does not cover Global Doctors treatment so for not so serious problems (as long as you can jufge it of course) I would recommend to consider the local Chinese system as the costs are just fractions of the Global doctos one.
