Q: Have you ever witnessed sexual harassment in China?
My friends in China all say they've seen quite a few cases of women getting harassed, but to be honest I haven't really witnessed anything at all. Once, in a really crowded bus, a woman THOUGHT a guy behind touched her. She rounded on him and verbally harassed HIM. I couldn't say for sure whether he really did it or not, but given how packed the bus was, it would have been difficult to prove.
I did, however, once see some creep with a cell phone taking pics of girls dressed in skirts going up the stairs. A couple of girls saw him but none said anything.
not big ones.. have seen slight harassments in restaurents...bars.. etc
Yep, a drunk dude in Yangshuo kept grabbing one of the waitresses and making out like they were lovers cuddling, all very much against her will, so I threatened to hit him over the head with a bottle and he stopped.
