Hello,
Does anyone has experience with health insurances in china?
I would actually like to purchase one for my family (2 persons, yet)
I know the famous ones AXA and Allianz, but I guess they are super expensive, does anyone know a price range? (I know it depends on age etc.)
Are there any good chinese insurances, probably with direct billing?
any recommendations?
Thank you

China Taiping, China Life, Ping An are some of the big players in Chinese insurance.
Typically you pay once per year. When you need your insurance you will usually need to fork out money yourself, e.g. if you go to the emergency room. Then the next day call your insurer and they will take care of any expenses from there and reimburse you for your initial expenses.
do you know an approximate price? is it like 10000 per month or 1000 etc. I checked a comparing website yesterday and there was mentioned for inpatient only it is like 60 euro per month with axa, actually I cannot believe this price (would be way too cheap?)
Good question. I'm in the process of figuring out my health insurance. Did you find out anything since your original post?
Not sure of what it costs in China. But Obama Care?If you make over $58,000 per year you will pay $5136 a year which gives you one trip to the doctor per year free then you have to pay $5750 deductible before you have complete coverage. $10,272 a year this not RMB this good old US dollars. 17.8% of your gross income to have full coverage. Affordable Health Care? On the other hand if you make less than $25,000 a year your health Care is free. So it pays not to make too much because it will all go in Obama Care.
I used a company called Global Fusion based in Malaysia, found online. The policy is actually with IMG. worldwide medical cover for about 7500rmb/year from memory.
