Q: Hello! Any Mandarin Learning Institutes or coaching available in Pinghsa district, Guangzhou?

I reside in Pinsgha District & commuting between long distances is not feasable at the moment due to long hours & hectic routine. I was wondering if anyone knows a learning center within approach that I can join to learn Mandarin.

Sha bie.....hows my Chinese?

icnif77:

-neu bie = awesome

-im (or -in) bie = coin

Now, you know two more.

Pay attention, so you won't 'scream' wrong one at the wrong occasion, like me.

Entering the bank and asking for an exchange of paper note and saying first time 'neu bie' while holding 10 RMB paper note in my hand ...??? !

Counter-she: 'Mei you neu bie!'

Me exiting sadly and since I know all three with similar ending .... I might called wrong one ...

Coming back to the counter and:

'Mei you neu bie ..., SHA-bie!???'

She meiyou-ed me, again!

At my third try, she gave me the coins ....

Chinese are bad ...

I had problems at learning Chinese, because I was unable to take notes while learning new words. Only memorizing phonetically, so few days later mix-up often happened.
