Q: Help!! Connecting Flight Issue

Hello all,

First of all I have a resident permit of China. I‘ll be traveling from Chengdu to Seoul. On my return I‘ll be taking a flight from Seoul to Guangzhou and then to New Delhi. I am having a 12 hour connection time between my flights. Can I use this time to roam around in Guangzhou?

For this I think I have to go through immigration twice at Guangzhou. Will that be a problem?

Traffic in Guangzhou is like most other cities which is shit. But you do have enough time to go around the city for an hour or two then head back. You should have no dramas going out of immigration twice.

Here is what I have heard: Soon now even Guangzhou will allow foreigners to stay for 72 hours, and without having to get a visa..

what does this have to do with the question?

A:Chinese are generally pretty tolerant friendly and accepting whatever foreigners do.  I spent 15 years in China but I wouldn't say there are that many don'ts....Don't assume that many people speak English though and learn some Chinese. Don't speak much about politics unless you want to praise Chinese system.  -- Natalie363
