Q: Help I want to change mens fashion shorts
OK, it's hot and I hate the baggy shorts men have to wear. The women get the low rise shorty shorts and we get big baggy things that cover our knees. WTF, It's hot, mine catch on my knees. I was going to cut them, but they all have cargo pockets. So I cut my blue jeans mid thigh.. I'm sure people will be saying something (but I'd look adorable). So I want every guy to start wearing shorter shorts so I'm not the only one in China. They feel so much better too.
Gonna have to crack my "nutters" out! Wonder where they are?
Man... I gotta sleep in a little bit. This is not the image I wanted in my head before hand.

It's not the hairy legs I'm worried about. It's the beans tryin to make a run for freedom that tweaks me. Just, when you're wearing the shorts, don't go commando. Package your package. :)

I cut mid thigh, not really short, I just could not take shorts below my knees. Besides they were tight jeans. I no show beans for free.
Ted, please do not tell anyone, but I beat you to the scissors maybe as much as 8 years ago.
Local WalMart had a sale on odd sizes jeans (not previously sold, I guess), and I bought two 38 inches waist and cut them off right where the pocket liners end. They have become my "uniform " during the summer heat, very comfortable to wear.
And I have no idea if they look at me or not, I am too busy looking at the girls to pay attention to who is looking at me.
I do hate those baggy shorts too. So, welcome to the "Hairy Legs Club".
Wear them in the summer months as well. comfortable and cooler. I do walk outside with a pair of footy shorts or low cut board shorts. do get looks with the hairy legs but thats jealousy real men have hair.
I have a feeling people think I'm strange because my shorts are too long? At home I feel weird wearing short shorts, but that's what all the girls wear here. I guess I'll just have to adapt.
My brain, the images, OMG, thanks Happy and Ted, I'll have to eyeball the scadely dressed women for a month to get these images out of my head, hairy legs, 38 inch waist, ghost legs hiding from the winter cold popping out for the summer,ahhhhhhhhhhh

You are a laowai in China: people will look at you funny regardless. Do what you gotta do 
THAT WAS NOT MY POSTED QUESTION or direction/ It was lets change the fashion in China, so i guess I was politically incorrect. Lets just change it every where, because mens shorts have sucked for too long and in too many countries.
It doesn't matter how long or short they are, jortz (jean shorts) are something I can do without. Otherwise, I'm good with shorts that terminate right above the knees 
Just wear a speedo and a mesh tank top....much cooler and you will fit right in with all the metrosexuals here.
Like it was said before (and maybe hundreds of times) you are a foreigner. You will get strange looks no matter what. Go ahead and wear the shorts you want. If they don't want to see it, they don't have to look.
Looking adorable is all that matters.... start the jorts revolution
I hate these friggin' Capri pants they all wear. My buddies would pound the crap outta me back home.
