Q: Hey, how's your lifestyle in Suzhou?

Do you really like Suzhou? How do you spend your free time here?

Suzhou is a big city so it will depend where you live what you spend your free time doing. There are endless new shopping malls that are increasingly Western-style, so if you like shopping, you've arrived. SIP is modern so there's lots of space to get out walking, running and cycling. There are also lots of new restaurant complexes and many cafes. There's a large expat community in SIP so you can join various clubs and societies. There are lots of historic sites in the Old Town and it's good to go and have a look every now and again. Life is relatively easy here, particularly in SIP but it's good to have a look in the Old Town every now and again and feel the chaos.

I've been. I can say with my hand on my heart... if there is any City in China I could move to, I'd move to Suzhou.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
