Q: History of AQI results for Beijing (or other cities)?

So this is a pretty specific question, but I'd really like to know if there is a website out there that records the daily Air Quality Index ratings for cities in China, specifically Beijing that is available to the public to use. I currently use an app on my phone to check the present AQI, but I don't think it has a history feature.

I'd like to personally track the number of peak "dangerous" or "hazardous" air pollution days the city has and compare it to the official number of "blue sky days" that is often discussed in official media. To see how it matches up.

Anyone know of such a site?

I don't know about websites or for across China, but I remember reading on the BBC online that the USA embassy in Beijing publishes AQI for 2.5 micron pollutants, it didn't say where they publish it, but if I were you I'd check the US embassy website.

The reason I remember it is because until recently this really pissed of the Chinese as the USA figures often contradicted the Chinese ones, and the Chinese didn't publish 2.5 micron pollutant figures only the larger pollutants.

P.S. Apologies in advance for any technical errors (I'm not a scientist) this was all written from memory.

Wait, is aqicn run by the CCP or a foreign company? Oh God, I've been using those numbers as accurate. Am I going to get lung cancer? I'm too young to die!

Yeah, I've used the Beijing Embassy AQI report before, but its only good for 24 hours at a time. http://beijing.usembassy-china.org.cn/070109air.html Someone really should set up a blog which keeps track of the AQI's history (someone that is more technically competent than me).

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
