Q: HIV updated info on residence permit

I wonder if anyone who is HIV+ came to China for work (recently like 2018 and up) and got residence permit after the blood test showed that you're HIV+. Lots of info on the internet but very controvercial and misleading.

You can send me a private msg if you feel so.

I would appreciate the info.

I doubt it, that's a pretty firm visa requirement from what I understand and I've heard that if you come up positive on your blood test you have about 48 hours to leave the country.

If the Chinese government didn't think it would cause such an international uproar, I believe it would exile all its HIV positive citizens to some remote island off the coast, much as lepers were.
