Q: Is Hohhot worth traveling to for National Day?

Or is better to go to other parts of Inner Mongolia? If so, which ones would you suggest?

I suggest staying home unless you like being in among about a billion people with the same idea as you have...

Hohhot is a place for some historic tour. If you are going for Inner Mongolia beautiful nature view. You should go directly north of Beijing. It's the best you drive from Beijing -Xilinguole-Chengde-Beijing, this route will impress you a lot, it will make you go back again for not only autumn view, but summer, but spring, but winter......don't forget to take your best camera!!

Just go, during national days, there got no crowded at all...this is why I went there twice during nationa days!

***For this reply, i should get 10 points..Admin here?...I dont usually answer useful info...not to mention i would recommend ppl something... Cool

oh...stay in that hot water small village....it's nice......They even got very clean white bed sheet there...the whole village give you a feel in an European small town (tho not as clean as possible)....

I like a snowy Happy new year, rather than a no sky one...Beijing's time to ban the cars---the only solution for the time being...

I've been to Hohhot on vacation and I really enjoyed it. However if the grasslands are closed (which I suspect they might be by this time of year) then save your trip for later. There wasnt as much to see in the city as I had hoped.

It may have Mongolia in the name, but its still China. If you cant get out to the grasslands then its not worth the trip this time of year.

A:I ain't sure if this will help, but I used to say ...:"Never stop sending your CVs, not even if you already have an interview invitation!" MS degree is completed online ... That might be the reason 'cause I don't think employer in China can secure legal Working permit by presenting degree completed online. TEFL Course completed online was/is acceptable, but I'm not sure about your MS ... Have a look at the requirements for Z visa in China ...  Good luck! -- icnif77
