Q: Holy crap! Some of you guys have thousands of points.

Geez, I thought I spent a lot of time on this site.  Been using it since, well 2010?  Seen a lot of people come and go.  I just enjoy the fellowship and never bothered to look at the strange point system til now.

I have admit, getting points can be addictive. This forum has a good format.

I try to get points by up votes. Not by answers. Because of this, I think this forum helps to develop cohesive joined up thinking.  It makes you think before you post. You need to communicate your opinion in a sensible way.

It's a good format.wink

I get thousands of points everyday - usually followed by the word "laowai" or "waiguoren"!

I only just realised that we get points for upvotes.I thought it was only for asking/answering questions.
