Hong Kong. I got married in China, had 2 day honeymoon in HK, said goodbye at the airport and did not see my wife for two years.
Sort of traditional Chinese wedding.
If you want to be posh.... Yangshou.

Scots, you're back man, long time no see. Yep Agreed here Guilin and Yangshou would be great.

Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Yunnan, Chengdu, Shanghai, Beijing, Changsha, Wuhan, they are mostly best cities in China. Some have history, some have nature.
estern:
To say that Wuhan and Changsha are some of the best cities in China is ambitious. What about Xi'an, Qingdao, Nanjing etc...?
Englteachted:
Yunnan, not a city. Changsha, Wuhan? Every Chinese and Expat I've ever met told me to avoid at all costs
estern:
@Engteachted I'm writing this from Wuhan right now and I concur. Avoid at all costs!
GreatTao:
GreatTao is a new Chinese platform created for global business on CREDIT.
Try Sanya but beware you're only allowed to stay in 5 Star hotels, thats how they keep the 5 Star Hotels in Business there. They'll charge you a sum of Y3200 for 3 days two nights.
China and romantic places aren't exactly synonymous. There are plenty of beach resorts, but they're generally not as good as those in South East Asia and more expensive. I'd consider the big modern cities of Shanghai and Hong Kong.
Another place to consider is Yangshuo. Stunning scenery, but often spoilt by a huge amount of domestic tourists. If they're willing to fight it out with the crowds it could be a good spot.
Would you like to buy a vowel?
Englteachted:
Here's what I'm thinking, using text speech is a great way to hide speech patterns, so this is someone's 2nd or 3rd account.
Curiousdude:
englishted, u 'think' too ? doesnt look by the way u assume n presume crap.
thx all fr valuabl insights n suggstns. much appreciatd.
