Q: How to apply for part-time job teaching French?

I'm looking for one-to-one classes to teach French and I'm only seeing job offers here, how can I post an ad myself?

Here you can post your resume only.

But you may try other websites, like shanghaiexpats.com and post your advert there ...

You can go to private language schools and just say "Ho hai guys, can haz French class to teach ? Merki". It sounds very plain, but that can really be as simple at that. I've zero interest in teaching French but I've been proposed to moonlight in language schools 3 times in 2 years.

1. Make some ads in pdf/word, etc. If you're a decent looking white guy/girl put up your photo, more appealing for Chinese ppl (yes, most likely they're looking for foreigner bf/gf but who cares ?). Don't forget your contact information.

2. Go to the universities in your city, just google the universities in guangzhou, then use google map on how to get there. You said you're in guangzhou for example one of them is Sun Yat Sen university,中山大学. Look for the foreign language building/department + foreign student building/department and put your ads in their notification boards.

A: What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never
A:What are you going to do, if I tell you answer is: 'forever' or 'never'? Chinese recruiters don't have the same habits as the western recruiters have ... Never stop sending your CV to the job offers, not even when you have an invitation or two for an interview! Don't expect Chinese will send you "Thank you for your application. You weren't selected at this time ...!" notice, so keep sending yer CV to the newly posted job openings. Looking for a job in China was like a part-time job in my time in China ... Good luck! -- icnif77
