Type 'teaching English in China' into Google and you will get about 15,000 schools or language institutes to choose from. There is a MASSIVE deficit of foreign language teachers in China, and while the professionalism and validity of these positions is questionable, you will definitely find a handful of companies who can pay your wages and sort out a new visa for you.

If you don't want to teach....... then start thinking about buying your plane ticket home

An English teaching job should be easy to find if you're a native/fluent English speaker. I would just spend a couple of hours a day applying for as many jobs as you can possibly apply for (as tiring as it is). Also, tell all your friends and contacts that you're looking for a job asap. In China, having friends here can really go a long way. Lots of my friends have found jobs or been called to interviews after applying through the job section on this site: http://jobs.echinacities.com/
I know there's a few others out there too like Chinajob and zhaopin.com. Good luck!
