Q: How can I get a police clearance letter?

Hi everyone.

My Chinese fiancee is applying for residence in my home country. We have been told that I need to provide either a local police clearance letter or else a letter of good conduct from my previous employer and then I need to have either one of these two notarised before using it to apply for a national police clearance letter.

How can I get this done as quickly and as seemlessly as possible?

Try and seek info at the nearest Public Security Bureau (PSB) ...

Have a read here on detailed instructions:

Salutations M'Lord, If you go to the police station you registered at and ask them for one, it will cost nothing and take a couple of days. Then take it to the notorizing office in the same city. That will cost a few hundred rmb and take almost one week. Done easy.
