It's going to be difficult as companies of their nature rarely use phone or email and they'd never have a social media presence.

Hi, it all depends. If your skillset is specialized maybe Linkedin China is good for you. If it's more general, like sales or junior level finance your chances are lower. Sending emails (repeatedly) is always an option, but if you're already in China maybe try your best as well to network with the right people.
