Q: how can i locate my classmate, a doctor in CHONGQING?
My friend and I studied for a few years together and now do not have contacts there to find and locate where that friend is.
I can provide a few details about my friend. The lady atudied to become a doctor and currently lives and practices in CHONGQING. Is there a way of locating a Doctor there in that location? If possible please show me how and I can call and talk with the Doctor. Thank you immensely. FF

Check with the hospitals in Chongqing, they might tell you if she works there.

I didn't see much harm in suggesting the blindingly obvious - if you're looking for a doctor, go to the hospital - and if there was an eye roll / duh emoticon I would have added it.
Check with the hospitals in Chongqing, they might tell you if she works there.

Doesn't matter what, 'stay away from MDs and Hospitals as much as you can!' MDs are bad news ...

I met a German doctor working in China, mostly catering to expats I think but maybe that was just because all the expats went to him.
He was based in a hospital.

If he was employed by Hospital then it's possible for laowai to doctor in China. But, he might also moonlight ..... like us

Clearly this friend wants nothing to do with you, move on already and stop stalking her. If you went to school together then you have mutual contacts, they're not putting you in touch because they know the deal with you 2
She is your friend, but did not give you her WeChat/QQ number? I agree with Ted on this, she doesn't want anything to do with you.

Indeed this is an extremely odd situation considering the culture to maintain contact wiith classmates for life is ubiquitous in China.
Did you ever say: "It puts on the lotion or it gets the hose again"......or "I want eat this cadaver's liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti" during anatomy class? Something similar?

I pretty much assume all the new posters with obviously non native English, asking questions that could easily be answered with a few minutes on the internet, are ECC staff. Especially when they don't reply and are never seen again.
I'll often reply just in case they aren't though.
Thirty Years ago, we exchanged addresses. Some might not work anymore. Also people do move. So, I lost contact. It is a group of students who had a 25th year of re-union. We tried all the addresses we had. Only Six showed up, But we do get a few flashes and I am trying to continue with the same search. May be I will hit a friendly web site that will point in the right direction and whistle..that away..
@Stiggs and @Englteachled ..When we parted company a few had Internet services at 18kb/s and calling China cost 50c/m. Now I am flying at 120mbps and it just costs us one cent per minute. Cheaper than postage. Sitting 6000 miles away and trying to locate a long lost friend.. Mmmm is considered stalking!!! You both are very protective and i like that. It seems to me like you were given some reasonable advice there.
My apologies. I had to generate a new handle, as I forgot the old one and the password for it. I have given my e-mail address also just in case anyone wants to get in touch with me. New handle means nothing, but the OP is still me. Some times the response back from this website takes so long it looks ominous waiting just to post a response. Now I am writing all of the Names and Passwords into my e-mail to retain the same. Now I have to contend with ONE MORE to handle. Even there the 3 entered into the name, I notice the same now. If I can merge all of these into one system, I will happily do that or I will have to ask the Moderator to help. I was on to this link, and I also forgot how I got to post a question to it and get a response. All of this is hidden within the website. I am new to all of this. Will get the hang hopefully some time.
