It depends on your local area. Head outside to see one of those delivery guys on the pedal tricycles (or electric bike) that delivers water, there is usually a phone number on them somewhere.  If not, ask him for a card.  He'll probably ask where you live, tell him your address and see if he delivers there (if you see him in your general neighborhood, it's a safe bet he does.) These guys will usually have you buy lots of bottled water and give you redeemable tickets, so be prepared to shell out a few hundred RMB. Or just ask a neighbor if you can speak Chinese.

Also, you can order if from Carrefour if there is one close by:

For the "Big 3" in Shanghai, (I haven't used them in years) here are the numbers.  They DO NOT have English speaking the last time I used any of them, but feel free to check:\

NongFu Springs
800-8571-058

Watsons
400-889-6888

Nestle
800-820-8898

Whenever i move to new apartment, the security guys are the right people who introduce you with these water guys..they generally prefers that you buy at least two or three bottles at once..

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
