Q: How can I verify paypal account with my China Construction Bank account?

I have created CCB account and paypal account.

And I have added the ccb account to paypal account to verify paypal account.

When I complete adding the ccb account to paypal, they said that please wait until paypal deposits two small amounts.

But I did not get any deposits from paypal even it is 10 days past.

Why there is no deposited?

What I have to do?

Please help me to verify my paypal account ASAP.

Many thanks

Cheng

Contact Paypal with your problem by email or phone. I hate Paypal, too many problems and I loose money with refunds because they use buy and sell exchange rates. I can only get a refund for under 45 days and if the shipment takes longer, then I loose all my money. I back up Paypal  with my Visa card, Visa gives me refunds easily. Paypal wouldn't let me use it in China, no matter how many of the questions I answered they said I couldn't prove it was my account. I hate Paypal.

The exact same thing happened to me! It was after several phone calls that one of their customer service reps explained that because the deposits are too small, the receive bank would not process them.Choose the "Manual verify" option. You will have to send a scan of your passport information page, the bank account detail page (statement) that has the exact same personal data as on your passport, and a gas/water/electricity/phone bill that has your mailing address and your name. My account was verified within 24 hours after that.

Sinobear:

In the options for your PayPal account, you can choose "Manual verification" for which you email the necessary scans to PayPal's customer service. So sorry, but I will not be sending my personal documents to anyone. If you are still confused, call their customer service hotline and a representative will walk you through the procedure. This is really something that should be clarified on their website (it took me almost two months before someone told me that the automatic deposits rarely work in China). Good luck!

I used China Merchants Bank, and did get those couple of mao that they send for verification... so that part is done!

However, I'm having problems linking that bank account to Paypal....

Make certain that your account is an e-banking account. Trying to process transactions usually is a two-step process: confirming the transaction with the seller then agreeing to pay the invoice through your e-banking account.

And...where you have the option to verify your account, go to 'more options' or use the 'help' menu. You will find the 'manual verification' option. Again, calling the PayPal customer service line is the best choice...they will walk you through everything.

Sino, is having the USB for internet banking the same thing?? I've been thinking it is, but perhaps it's not, and that's what my problem is.

Cheng - I replied to your PM. But, for everyone else, about 3 days for PP to deposit into CMB.

Yes, that's part of it. You also have to make sure that your e-banking account allows overseas transactions.

you should talk to paypal about verifying your account another way. scanning bank docs, id docs and sending it to them. contact them, not us.
