Most of the places that I have been in china the crosswalk and the stoplights for oncoming traffic does not mesh well. Whenever there is a green crosswalk light I automatically think go. However, the traffic tells me otherwise to stay and wait. Sometimes I just have to run across the street even if it is a red light because it doesn't matter at most places it will still be hard to cross the street. One place has an exception but most places are like that. What are possible answers that you can come up with?

No one cares about traffic lights, they are only a suggestion, so cross when ya can,, its not like jaywalking is illegal here..
no one here respects any traffic laws. so it dosnt matter what order the lights go on. they can all turn green at the same time and would be the same.
Green lights, red lights...who cares? Go when it looks safe. Sometimes I feel like it's safer to cross during a red light, just saying.
