This one just in from a Australian news page
A passer-by heard Chyou Wang's cries for help after her head became wedged between the bars which are designed to stop burglars.
The little girl's parents were not home at the time so emergency crews were forced to break into the Guilin city flat in order to free the youngster.
One firefighter's had to widen the bars while another held onto the Chyou's legs as her head was the only thing that stopped her from plunging through the bars.
After some careful twisting and turning the rescuers managed to free a very distressed Chyou, whose little face had become puffy and red from crying.
Chyou's parents said they regularly left their toddler alone in the apartment while they went to work.
They said she must've gotten bored or tried looking for them and somehow managed to open the window.
"We never imagined something like his could have happened," said Chou's father Lian.
Chyou's parents have promised not to leave their little girl alone in the future.
How many times does this happen every day around the world?

Actually I had the same thing happen to me. Not with my kid, I got my own head stuck, and it truly was very distressing. Worst of all though, it happened from the outside of the building and my flat was on the seventh floor. The wife left me hanging there till morning. Said it'd 'teach me a lesson' not to go out beering without my keys. She was right though, it only happened three more times and since then i've never forgotten them again.
