Q: How common is it for Chinese university students to have older sugar daddies?

I know that in Japan it's pretty much the norm, as there's little stigma when it comes to paying for your fancy designer bags by being some middle-aged man's mistress, but does this happen in China?

Sincere opinion from my wife is that in her university they never heard of anything like that at all!!..

I have been to her university many times before... looking at girls in campus... i didnt feel anyone look like have sugardaddy... (just my judgement)

It is common, rich men go prowling around university campuses. I even knew a student with one.

In my univesity in Guilin it was not unheard of, and I even had a few students whom I had seen with their sugardaddies. I always pretended not to have seen them.
