I knew that. I think they have excelled in many ways. While most people respect them for all the achievements some Americans feel that it should be a race which is crazy. It is the party that is currently in power that feels this way, primarily. I think that both countries should agree to help one another and not be competitive with the other country.

After teaching online I see that their students are much like the American students in terms of behvaior ( ages 5 - 9). Beyond that is what appears to be a percentage of the Americans take the lazy path while some stay serious about their education. Nothing can beat the total seriousness that the Chinese students have. If this continues there should be no question as to the reason the Chinese are able to achieve more.

Yeah, I'm on the Chinese side, too. ... maybe just because you can see titles against China so often.

It was amazing ( ) to see how Chinese respect traffic rules and all ... seeing it live from around 2010 on ...

Now, cops hand regulating the traffic in the main crossings, that is something else ...

Picture this: "... all females, 165 - 175 cm tall, skinny, dressed in all leather, black outfit. ... Dalian, 2010, outside temp. - 25*C ... short-hair w/ beret, wind&all proof leather jacket&trousers, military style black boots", two at the time ... like at doubles in tennis ... except colder ... ..

When I inquire about 'all movie-star seating in traffic crossings', Chinese told me, that it is a gov. job and only the best shape counts ... I was only walking around China, but in Liaoning, I was imagining I would be driving ..., i.e. who to watch: traffic or woman ...

I would say, they must have a tonne of skirmishes and accidents, but they don't ... everything is c&d with woman dressed in black leather in the middle.

I'm telling you, Chinese are different ...

.. 'add-it': "I've seen such a traffic set-up only in Liaoning and nowhere else in China ..."

O.K., one more: plowing the snow, cleaning up the roads at snow fall ... Chinese carry the snow away ... it's not like at us, when they push the snow to the banks 'nd voila ... Chinese plow snow with the digger and brazzilion trucks, waiting for the snow load in a beautiful line, queue line, that's it. Truck approaches the digger, gets load of snow and drove it away to some predestine place. Many different actors, but in China it's very organized.

... digger, and some 50 trucks approaching the digger for around 2' stop ... conveyor belt thingy. It's a beautiful site to see it at large, ... from distance.

China counts down to start of work on Xinjiang-Tibet Railway

National rail operator registers company to oversee construction of line from Hotan to Lhasa

https://www.scmp.com/news/china/article/3321311/china-counts-down-start-...

... Under the plan, the route will join the existing Lhasa-Shigatse line with a new one from Hotan to Shigatse, forming a roughly 2,000km (1,240-mile) strategic artery linking northwestern and southwestern China.

The Xinjiang-Tibet Railway is one of four lines planned to connect Tibet with the rest of the country, with the other services linking the western region to Qinghai, Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.

The Qinghai-Tibet line is up and running while construction continues on the other two. ...

Long distance train ride in China is blastical ... See 'China-from-the-Train' thingy ...

A: Someone doesn't count ...  Potential employer/Z visa sponsor
A:Someone doesn't count ...  Potential employer/Z visa sponsor will tell you that.Never mind, I just point that out.Your previous working experience can be considered, but it should be at STEM or at least at English teaching. Now, if employer wants you really bad, they'll skip that part and proceed with 'Working Permit' application issued by the .gov.School must convince .gov to issue a Working Permit. Once you have that, you'll proceed with Z visa application at Chinese Embassy in your home country. The other matter you should consider is a Native English passport requirement. You can score Z visa as a non-native English teacher only when/if you hold a degree completed in a native English country (UK, USA, Canada, Ozz, New Zealand, S. Africa or Ireland, I think.) ... and many employers are not aware of that, so make sure, you point that out on your CV! ... if you hold BA from a native English country ... ... and if you don't hold BA degree completed in a native English country, you don't qualify for a Z visa, i.e. you can forget about legally working in China as an E.T..This is an old Chinese Labour law provision ... since 2009 or even earlier ... -- icnif77
