Q: How to connect Paypal with Bank of China account?

I have managed to set up a Chinese paypal account to send money to my UK paypal account and thus my UK bank.
You need your unionpay card to be set to be allowed to make internet payments. The bank will give you a gizmo (ICBC give you a calculator looking thing) which you pay no more than 20RMB for. Then, go onto paypal and select "send" and go through the steps for UnionPay before adding your card number. When you pay you will be directed to your banks online paymens portal. Have a Chinese friend help you with this and make notes as the process is the same (so you just learn where to enter numbers and which button to press)
Make sure you have the dual fund (for international purchases) E-account.
Register your account with Paypal.
Apply for MANUAL VERIFICATION of your account. Paypal admits that their automatic deposits seldom work.
Make sure you already have a scan of your bankbook front page, passport information page, and one receipt that has both your name and home address on it.
What do you mean? To hook a unionpay card to enable paypal payments?
Remember that PayPal is 50/50, sometimes times it'll allow your transactions and sometimes it wont. Ebay and a handful of other sites worked for me but others didn't.
We used a China Merchants bank credit card.. We got the small deposits and got connected.
Keep trying you'll get it.
