Guangzhou has a suicide bridge. Check it out.

There is a sign on the bridge that asks people to kill themselves someplace else and not disrupt traffic on the bridge. But, no one pays attention to the sign.

The best way is to commit suicide~
But how ever, many people try to struggle, so therapy is needed.
Talk to the doctor and take medicine.
For me, everything is different after lived 6months in Africa. I think it works the same for u to live in China.

When you're depressed, you need to have fun, let off some steam! Everybody has different way of doing it. I currently put on my glow in the dark spandex pants, turn on the volume of my beatbox and dance the macarena while singing "who let the dogs out". It keeps me happy.

I also wanted to skin little rabbits (no cats or dogs, i love them long time!) but i couldn't find any place where i can learn to do that.

Life is about dancing, hi-fiving people, make moar friends and enjoy life! If you're in depression, you may be missing one of those!

Seek psychological help. It's not a shame to go see a psychiatrist, nor to take medication. Most men have big egos and think it's a weakness to seek help, and that's why so many people commit suicide. But isn't suicide one of the weakest action one can take? You gotta confront your problems, not escape them!

Take your western ideology and go home. You are going to have a very difficult time in China.

What, Martin? You mean in China, suicide is the only option? I'm not narrow minded, there is never a single solution to a problem. It's all about if you have the guts and courage to go look for an alternative. If you don't want to go see a doctor, fine, but suicide is the most coward thing one can do.

Check it out - how many psychiatrists or psychologists are actively practicing or available in China.

How many psychological clinics are there?

You have no idea about the realities of real life in China.

You are a typical foreigner who thinks they know what is best for China. Go home - you make it more difficult for the foreigners who are serious about living in China's harmonious society.

PREDICTION: six months from now you will be gone.

I didn't say there was only two options, Martin. When depressed, you can seek the help of your friends, family, damn even a Voodoo priest can help you! What about Chinese medicine? They probably have something against depression, they just don't go and tell you to jump Guangzhou bridge, I bet.

And I never said anything about what's best for China. You can go to a new country without trashing all your beliefs. I don't want to be a sheep, unlike you. So far, I really love China. I met a pig, only one so far, but the rest of the people I met were really nice. But I won't ask a question like "Why is the vast majority of the people I met here in China are so nice?".

It's not always black or white. There are shades of gray, just like your hairs, by the sound of your answers, because you sound like an old geezer.
