In Toronto, they fired the boss, butt.....he was a man. Your problem is much, much larger.

I'm not good with being lorded over (in London I threatened to throw one boss of mine down a flight of stairs and another off a roof) which is one of the reasons I came here. Now i'm my own boss, so I have to watch my step or I might kick my arse.

Scandinavian:

maybe you need to sit down with your boss and do a session of vodka shots, to make sure you get along with yourself

ignore him.  he needs you more than you need him.  once you realize this, its all up hill for you..  or you can just find a job that doesn't bully the foreigner.

Stop sucking at your job.  You made it pretty clear that the reason hes on your ass is because you suck at demos. Since he didnt take you off that and put someone competent on the job we can assume its because you work at a small training center or something and he doesnt have a choice. He pays you to teach and realistically to bring in new business. You suck at that and he loses money and he must pay you to suck. He has every right to be pissed.  Do a better job. If your good, your boss will be good to you
