Summer in China is too hot
2 years 20 weeks ago in Health & Safety - China
europens can endure exteremes of cold and heat.
But then it is easy for Chinese people to stereotype non-Chinese or base their opinions of non-Chinese on a conversation with one person.

Did you know that, in waiguo - that place beyond the great wall - , the staple food is hamburgers?
I worked with a teacher from the UK once, she used to whinge incessantly about the heat in summer. And the cold in winter. And her students, neighbours, the driving, mosquitos, work, food, people who couldn't speak English when she barked at them... everything actually.
They're getting extreme heat at home as part of the european heat wave with unprecedented high temperatures, I bet she's on a whinging hot streak.
I'd say, extremely difficult 'cause no fish & chips ...

I say old thing, no fish and chips? What is one to do? One can not survive on tea and scones alone.

China Sends Tanks To Protect Banks
Local media claimed that there have been reports that tanks from the Chinese Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) are on the streets defending Banks (Rizhao, Shandong Province). According to the media, the incident is related to the Bank of China branch in Henan's declaration that customer funds are "investment items" and cannot be withdrawn.

... butT ..., the last one must be just after the successful rejuvenating ... process-ing.
The thingy is one can't make hands look younger ... that's the reason she has gloves on ...
Same applied at sex change ... you can change most of the gender things, but hands always stay in the original form, i.e. male or female hands.
You just need to look at hands and you'll recognize the gender's origins ...

Sanctions on Russia could leave Britain without fish and chips
There are fears that half of the country’s shops selling the uniquely British fast food may go out of business
Around 5,000 of Britain’s 10,500 fish and chips shops may be forced to shut down over soaring prices for ingredients and energy caused by the sanctions imposed on Russia over its military operation in Ukraine, local media reports, citing government figures.
The shops were already under pressure, but the situation has become even worse after the authorities decided to slap a 35% tariff on seafood from Russia.
“These extra tariffs will push thousands of shops over the edge,” the president of the National Federation of Fish Friers, Andrew Crook, has warned.
According to Crook, the price of one kilogram of cod has already risen from £8 (around $10) to £14 ($17).

Massive Chinese Rocket In "Uncontrolled Descent" Expected To Crash Into Earth In Days
"Areas at the extremes in latitude (+/- 41.5°) have higher chances of reentry. This includes Iowa. But the chance at a specific location remains very small."

Nothing to do with Chinese rockets, but there's going to be a cool meteor shower tonight (NZ time).
You should google it, maybe it's viewable where you are.

There's a calendar of meteor showers ...
I didn't know that ...!
I am using the same website for the city's weather report...

I have an up-staring event at my place on Aug. 12-13th of this year ....
However. considering the staring up into the sky ... even at night ... I find it ...
When I was younger, there was a prank joke when you would meet few or group of people outdoors and while passing them, you had to look up into the sky ... maybe also point with the hand like something of utmost importance is going on up there ... and then, the whole group would follow you and turn their heads up in the sky .... , but nothing out of the ordinary would be there ...
One had to walk away a bit faster from the up-staring group ...
I'd say, it's extremely difficult to make me stare up in the sky ...
Watch: Debris From Uncontrolled Chinese Rocket Re-Entry Falls Into Sea Near Philippines
"No other country leaves these 20-ton things in orbit to reenter in an uncontrolled way."
SUN JUL 31, AT 1:55 PM
China's handling of the botched re-entry drew criticism from NASA head Bill Nelson.
"The People's Republic of China did not share specific trajectory information as their Long March 5B rocket fell back to Earth. All spacefaring nations should follow established best practices, and do their part to share this type of information in advance to allow," Nelson tweeted.
