So like there is this club i normally go
on Mondays : Its open bar till 3am (i think). The price at the door is 60 yuan, but those with VIP cards like me pays half the price, sometimes we don't even pay.
On Wednesday: Its open bar, the price is also 60 yuan, VIP pay half the price. Oh and they provide free burgers and pizza too
On Thursdays:Its Ladies night..free beer for girls.
On Fridays: We don't pay at the door... and the price for a bottle of tsingdao is less than 30 yuan. All cocktails are 5 yuan sometimes 10 yuan.
Now they have to pay the bartenders, the DJ, the ayi's, the guards, water and electricity bills, and other lots of things.
so how do they make profit with all these other expenses ?

Keep in mind that the alcohol they provide is fake, and costs them nothing.
A bottle of qingdao costs like 3 yuan outside, and 25 in a bar.
A bottle of fake whiskey costs like 50 yuan, and probably less for them, but costs minimum 400 in a bar.
Etc etc
So the profit is actually huge.
FOod, entrance fees it adds up. If it's 60 yuan per customer and 100 people enter that's 6000 yuan right there in a night alone.
Oh yah,,, fake alcohol, totally forgot about that. Thanks Mr_spoon
You pay 30 yuan a beer!!!
FFS, when I go to a 'western' bar in Nanning (which is not very often) I pay no more then 9Yuan and in Chinese bars usually 6 or 7 and that's for the big bottles.
If clubs are offering all you can drink for 60 or even 100 rmb it is because of one or 2 reasons.
In SZ many bars will give you the all you can drink for this amount of money simply because you are a foreigner and as such give them guanxi and street cred with the locals that have the coin to drop in their bar.
Or they are serving cheap ass fake shit and can afford the hit.
The "hostesses" make a commission on how much you spend. Ever wonder why?
Because the 60 yuan you paid at the door just paid one of their staff.
One of my Chinese friend is a Manager at Chinese Night Club..What he said me is something Surprised me. He said whenever any customer order a bottle of whisky..they already mix 25% water in it..and they just open that bottle in front of you like they are breaking the lock of cap...since they give red ice tea to mix with scotch or whisky..so none of the customer can notice the diluted tatse.. and they increse the level of water in your whisky bottle as per your drunk level...
So always check the lock of cap by yourself..
Bar girls and fake booze... oh yes! what is that 'itchy' feeling you are getting? but, oh no.. that bottle of brandy was legit, yeah? It cost 600rmb?? yeah? haha yeah.. you were drinking anti-freeze..and the girl getting you drunk on it just kept bouncing her boobies in your face and rubbing her butt on your thigh and said 'drink more!'
from customers like you of course, they make it by the quantity of people getting in a bar daily and the less quality of stuff being offered to the customers which cost them far less than you think, when you sit there in a so-called VIP side, you think you are greater than any other one there in the bar but they are just fooling you, trying to make you look important while you are actually consuming the same low quality food, drinks that the ordinary people out there also do consumer or even lesser than that, for no one does something without a reason

Police in China have discovered 10,000 bottles labelled as one of the world's most expensive wines in a deserted house.
If authentic the haul of Chateau Lafite Rothschild would be worth £10m ($16m), but police believe it is fake.
Chateau Lafite is very popular with China's new rich and 50,000 bottles are imported from the estate each year.
Police say it's unlikely that a fifth of that total would have been stored in one deserted suburban villa.
The house is in the eastern city of Wenzhou, south of the financial hub, Shanghai.
It is reported to have had good security and to have been guarded by dogs.
Its owner, Mr Zhou, told police he had been surprised to learn that his house, unoccupied for nine years, was being used to store wine. He has denied any involvement.
The authorities hope the discovery will hold clues to an underground workshop
Analysts say that 70% of bottles of Chateau Lafite sold in China are fakes. The estate has fought and won six lawsuits against Chinese companies over fine wines.
